Pair of Victorian Antique Cut Glass Ale Tumblers c1880

Description

A pair of fine quality Victorian ale tumblers with cut petal flutes to the lower part and polished out pontil marks. Lead glass, c1880

Condition

Very good condition with no chips or nicks. Both tumblers have a couple of tiny encased air bubbles, inclusions and some light scuff marks. The middle part of the right tumbler has a couple of internal horizontal scuff marks, this is probably from where another tumbler has been stacked inside. The edge on a couple of petal flutes have a couple of pinpricks that are very hard to see.
