A pair of Nemsova glassworks pink glass vases with corrugated moulded winged panels and polished bases with centred moulded wells. Designed by Milos Filip during the 1960s, pattern number 2002.
A blue example of these Sklo Union pressed glass vases is shown in the book 'Hi Sklo Lo Sklo' by Mark Hill, page 74.
Very good condition, no chips, nicks or staining. The left vase has a couple of small encased air bubbles, a couple of small crease lines and a tiny defect on the rim from production. The right vase has a few tiny encased air bubbles, a tiny dimple by the base and the rim has some all-round small manufacturing defects due to inclusions on the rim surface (please see final picture). Both vases have a couple of light age related surface marks.
